Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan, Assam (RMSA) has release a notification for Online applications are invited from intending candidates for recruitment in the following
posts in different Adarsha vidyalayas of Assam in the pay scale as mentioned in detail in official
website. The appointments shall be made purely on contractual basis
however the contract may be renewed depending on the satisfactory annual performance.

Medium of Instruction & course in the institutions : English/ CBSE
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Graduate
Teacher
(Arts): B.A/MA from recognized University with
at least 50% of marks in either Graduation or
Post Graduation (or its equivalent) and B.Ed
Degree from National Council for Teacher
Education recognized institution, but
degrees obtained from off-campus and
distance education institution shall not be
considered as valid and TET (Secondary
/Adarsha Vidyalaya/ CTET) Qualified.
Scale of Pay: Rs.14,000/- to 49,000/-
(PB-II) plus Grade Pay
of Rs. 8,700/- only
Graduate
Teacher
(Science): B.Sc./M.Sc from recognized University
with at least 50% of marks in either
Graduation or Post Graduation (or its
equivalent) and B.Ed Degree from National
Council for Teacher Education recognized
institution, but degrees obtained from offcampus and distance education institution
shall not be considered as valid and TET
(Secondary /Adarsha Vidyalaya/ CTET)
Qualified.

Graduate

(Hindi): Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks and
degree qualification with 50% marks or Post
Graduation degree in Arts with 50% marks
from any recognized University, , but
degrees obtained from off-campus and
distance education institution shall not be
considered as valid;
OR
B.A with 50% marks and having Hindi as
one of the subject with 50% marks or Post
Graduation degree in Arts with 50% marks
provided that he/she has passed B.A with
one of the subjects as Hindi with 50% marks
in Hindi.
AND
B.Ed Degree from any recognized
University (Parangat to be treated as B.Ed
degree only for the purpose of Hindi
Teaching), but degrees obtained from offcampus and distance education institution
shall not be considered as valid and Special
TET (Hindi)/ CTET Qualified.
N.B: Candidates must secure 50% marks
in Pravin /Ratna or Hindi as a subject in
Degree Level.
Scale of Pay:Rs.14,000/- to 49,000/-
(PB-II) plus Grade Pay
of Rs. 8,700/- only
DESIRABLE NORMS:
- Experience of Working in a CBSE affiliated/ Govt. recognized school / reputed private institutions.
- Proficiency in English and Assamese Language.

Applicants must properly check following testimonials before submission of online application:
1. H.S.L.C: Admit Card, Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate.
2. H.S.S: Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate.
3. B.A / B.Sc: Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate.
4. M.A/M.Sc Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate (if available)
5. B. Ed Degree: Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate.
6. TET Pass Certificate / Copy of statement of marks for Special Adarsha Vidyalaya TET .
7. Passport size photograph and Specimen Signature.
8. Certificates in support of Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe (Plains or Hills)/ OBC/ MOBC
9. Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose certificates of disabilities from competent
authority like Social Welfare Deptt., Health & FW Deptt. etc.
10. Physically Handicapped candidates having supporting certificate may apply.
11. Certificate of NCC (B & C certificate), Sports and Cultural ( representing State or Nation).
12. Teaching Experience Certificate (if any).
INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS:
1. Applicants are advised to satisfy themselves about their eligibility criteria before online applying. Prescribed
essential qualifications are only a criteria of eligibility for consideration and it does not entitle a applicant to
be necessarily selected.
2. Relaxation in upper age limit as per Government of Assam rules will be admissible.
3. For the post of GRADUATE TEACHER (ARTS/SCIENCE/HINDI) an application fee of Rs. 200/- only
(for ST/ SC/PH candidates Rs.100/- only) must be submitted in the form of Demand Draft in favour of
Mission Director, RMSA, Assam payable at Guwahati.
4. Envelope containing the Demand Draft (original) must be superscribed in bold letters “ APPLICATION
FEE FOR THE POST OF (………..name of the post…………….) IN ADARSHA VIDYALAYA” along
with printed online application form.
5. The Demand Draft (original) should be send to the address given below:

6. Online application will be opened from 6
th August 2020 at 12:00 Noon.
7. Last date for submission of online application is 25th August 2020 at 12:00 Noon.
8. Shortlisted applicants must carry all the attested photocopies of certificates in proof of Age, Qualifications,
Experience, Caste Category along with the original when called for verification and interview.
9. Selected Applicants are likely to be posted / transferred to any Adarsha Vidyalaya of Assam.
10. Applicants working in Government departments, Autonomous Organizations etc. must submit their
applications through proper channel.
11. If any candidate submit any false information on their eligibility, then their candidature will immediately
stand as cancelled.
